Your Meta Quest 2 and all of your models, designs, and levels will go home with you so you can continue building an immersive, imaginative virtual realm.

  • Program interactions with C#
  • Think in 3D to create virtual reality experiences
  • Develop coding and design skills

Sample Schedule

Here’s a sample of what a week in the course could look like. Please keep in mind that students will progress at varying paces; this is a general outline of the key material and overall student experience.

Students will navigate the Unity interface and learn how to create Prefab Assets. They’ll build a basic 3D object such as a desk or block car and then customize it with colored materials.

Next, students will learn the basics of C# and layering code. They’ll implement variables, conditional statements, and other essential coding elements into a Unity script.

Building off their skills, students will integrate the Meta Quest 2 VR headset with Unity. Then, they’ll dive into art direction and the game development pipeline.

Students will explore more advanced VR interactions in their game projects. Then, they’ll use VR-optimized level design techniques to build levels for their game.

To wrap up the week, students will complete their VR projects, add additional elements to their games, and playtest their projects with their peers.

Portfolio-Boosting Diploma & Transcript

At the conclusion of your child's course, they will receive an official iD Tech diploma and course transcript outlining the skills they learned over the course of the week.
